MELANGATA STATION

Melangata Station is my partner and I latest project.

It is a Pastoral lease in the Yalgoo region in Western Australia that happens to have an historic homestead designed by Monsignor John Hawes, who was a Catholic Priest/ Architect, that was based in the Midwest region for many years and was responsible for many beautiful churches and buildings through out the region.

We have three, adults only, recently renovated rooms and new bathrooms available for dinner bed and breakfast stays in the historic homestead.

We have set up a camp ground with basic facilities, flush dunnies and hot showers, for self sufficient travellers with their tents, camper trailers and caravans.

This will be a work in progress for the next couple of years and a constant maintenance program well into the future.

We have a small flock of sheep that if we can get the wild dogs under control we hope to improve and increase numbers over the next few years.

All in all we have a lot of work ahead of us but we also have a lot of fun times ahead as well.

We would love if you are in the area to send me an email, we wont always be near the phone and there is no mobile coverage, to arrange a time to visit and enjoy our beautiful part of Western Australia with us. See More at www.melangatastationstay.com.au
